Juan James Rodriguez Streaks in Front of Obama for $1 Million

A 24-year-old man who streaked at a rally in front of President Obama on Sunday may have a big payout headed his way.

Juan James Rodriguez was arrested for public nudity at the rally in Philadelphia on Sunday with "Battlecam" scrawled across his chest. Watch video of Rodriguez at left.

Rodriguez reportedly pulled off the stunt in response to a challenge from billionaire Alki David, who promised to pay $1 million to the first person to streak in front of the president.

David told the Weekly Standard that Rodriguez will get his money if he confirms what happened.

"When I see the video and it's confirmed...it won't be [a] check [that Rodriguez receives], it will be cash," he said.

David told the magazine that in order to win the cash, the streaker had to be within "eye-shot and ear shot of the president" as well as scream the name of his website six times. And, of course, be nude.

At the same rally, a man threw a book at Mr. Obama while the president was on stage waving to the crowd. The book missed the president, and the Secret Service later said it had been thrown by an over-exuberant fan and didn't represent a threat.

The dude will be fortunate to be paid this year to avoid the repeal of the Bush tax cuts on $750,000 of his million bucks. We all get the tax cut up to $250K. To offer this reward is not evidence of excessive taxes on the rich.

I wonder if the book that was thrown at him was called Trickle Up Poverty oh well at least he didn't have to dodge a shoe like Bush did.

A Republican and a Democrat walk into Tiffany's of NY. The Republican immediately knocks over a lamp that results in cascading destruction throughout the store. The Dem grabs a broom and begins cleaning up the mess. When the cops arrive on scene, they arrest the Dem. "You're sweeping it up.", say the cops. "It must be your fault."

No book was thrown at the President, the article author didn't read the original news article so she changed "tossed" on to the stage apron, to "threw at the President." How much exaggeration are we going to get from would be journalists?

A typical left-wing nut job who probably couldn't afford any clothes in Barak Obama's economy.

Notice that the "freedom of speech" advocates won't touch this with a ten foot pole. If he were to get arrested for shouting vicious, hateful and racist remarks the "freedom of speech" advocates would be all over the police. What a nice message to our children. The human body is evil but hate is protected under the law. Oh and in response to the person who thought this guy could have had a bomb implanted .... I don't think clothes prevent detonation of an explosive device. Besides, it would have had to have been a very small bomb ...... :-)

Between these two incidents and the white house party crashers, you would think that President Obama would request all new secret services members.

sounds serious. the man could have had a bomb surgically implanted and detonated by remote control. the man should never have been able to get that close to the potus. as for the book thrower, how can you throw a book at someone and not mean harm or as a stunt? either incident should give obama cause for alarm and the ss cause to provide stricter protection.
